Additional Info:
I've been fishing about 3 months now - got into it through my son who asked me could I take him as his friend goes with his dad to a fishery.
Not having any idea on how to even set-up a rod, my son and I went along to the River Ribble with a friend from work who's a keen fisherman. And from that day I got into it myself.
The next day, with a budget of 100 pounds, I bought myself a rod and reel and all the bits I needed to start fishing.
Anyway - I went to the Ribble yesterday - Sunday 7th of September - and caught two barbel. The first weighed in at at 12lb 7 ounces whilst the second one was 14lb 8 ounces.
Needless to say I left the river a very happy man.
