This is the first time i've fished for barbel. It rained so hard the night before there were only handful of accessable swims, the river was high, fast flowing and chocolate coloured with whole trees whizzing past, the odds were against me so i really thought i didn't have a chance then the rod tip whips round and before i know it's in my arms and i've got a huge smile on my face. |
