This 15 pound 1 oz barbel was caught by eleven year old Matthew Billups, on a Nottingham stretch of the River Trent. It put up such a fight, Matthew has complained about back ache ever since, not surprising as it took half an hour to land it was fighting so much.
It was caught using red robin pellet, tipped with a fake maggot. |
